Reasons for Choosing Steel Mould for Building Mould

Building molds can use plastic molds or steel molds. The cost of plastic molds is relatively low. So why use steel molds? Let's talk about this with everyone.

First of all, although the plastic mold is low in price, it also has many disadvantages: 1. Once it is damaged, it is completely scrapped. Plastic molds cannot be repaired. Once broken, they can only be replaced with new ones. Moreover, if the cost is so low, no one will do anything to maintain a bad mold. We know that in construction engineering, the use of molds is under high pressure, so damage is not impossible. In view of this, the use of steel molds is damaged, and it only needs to be repaired by welding. So, in terms of maintenance and repair, steel mold has a greater advantage.

Then: Not all molds can be made of plastic. In some places where the span is very large, molds can only use steel molds. Plastic molds can not be supported, such as bridges and many other places. Therefore, steel molds can always play an important role in important occasions.

Also, plastic molds need to be manufactured before they can be used to produce plastic molds. Each type of plastic mold has a unique mold corresponding to the model for production. If there is no corresponding mold, only a new mold can be opened. However, if your demand is small, it is obviously not worthwhile to open the mold. Steel molds do not have such troubles. As long as they have dimensions, they can be directly produced without the need of other auxiliary molds. They use folding plates, welding and other processes.
